Interesting, I hadn't heard of elan vital until now. Just read up on it a bit. I think the similarity is that they are both difficult to pin down with an accurate definition. I'm glad you pointed this out though, because I have to keep in mind that MOJO will be interpreted as crackpot, new-age pseudo-psychology if I'm not careful. Thanks, and nice to see you around again:-)

MOJO is perfect timing.

MOJO is accurate simplicity (correct & simple).

MOJO is the NOW standing atop REQUIRED HISTORY holding the FUTURE captive in its vice-like grips.

MOJO is the exception, not the rule.

MOJO is given, never had.

MOJO is taken, never lost.

MOJO is made, not destroyed.

MOJO heals all.

MOJO is a LAW.

Finally and Frankly...

MOJO is OBEDIENT to the DO NO HARM protocol and must be replenished with Great Action (and/or Great Inaction) in order to maintain its intense connection to all that ever was, is, and will be; it grows via kindness and relies not on a host for its existence. Which begs the question:

Which came first, the chicken or the MOJO?

IMHO,

I hear ya on the MOJO description.
Y'know, there's this quaint little cafe next to me that has the best atmosphere on the planet, and no one goes to it. I find it my little hideaway that I can collect myself at. Unfortunately, it had been closed for a couple weeks due to Golden Week, and I was happily surprised to see that it was open today. I stayed there for a good 45 minutes reading one of my favorite books, and afterwards I felt like my MOJO had revisited me once again. I felt the energy you were referring to- it's a nice slow but powerfully passive energy, and yes, you do know you're in your element. The earth felt like it was in an equilibrium once again. Nothing around me had changed, just I had changed.
