This is pretty much how I saw it too….

Let’s be clear: I don’t mind the Palin as a person, though I strongly disagree with her folksy view of the world. In any case, I don’t think she has any business running for the White House, however cute and spunky her speeches may be.

  2. Interesting that the same rigor, insight and analysis hasn’t been directed at candidates on both sides of the fence.

    If there has been a failure to analyze the rhetoric and style of responses from Obama and Biden, it is only because too much energy from the GOP campaign goes into mischaracterizing Obama/Biden voting records and affiliations with organizations and individuals. This becomes the sole focus of their supporters, leaving them with little intellectual creativity to write scathing satire, or even design charts like the above. And let’s be honest with ourselves, the vast majority of rigorous, insightful, intellectual thinkers in the US tend to support liberal policies and an even greater majority support Obama. I don’t think the unbalanced focus is as symptomatic of unfairness as it is of who the GOP targets for support.
