Guest Contributor
Before I start the post proper, I was thinking that rather than put down Guest Contributor at the top of my articles (see above) I could have something a bit snappier. Rob’s Ruminations perhaps. Dalton’s Deliberations maybe. Anyway, I’m sure you see what I mean. Have a think and if you can come up with any, preferably one that makes me sound cool, let us know. I’ll try and come up with some too. Now, today’s post…..
How many times have you said that you know something like the back of your hand? I do it all the time. I’m usually wrong but while I’m arguing my point no one could beat me for effort. Anyway, the reason I asked is this, I happened to look at the back of my hand this evening and it is a complete stranger to me. There are lines on him that I don’t know where they could have come from. There are also some crazy looking sinew type affairs that run from wrist to finger. I’ve not seen them before either. It’s like being in a new, and strange, neighbourhood.
I feel I should try to have a message, so that I can at least attempt to have the same simpatico as Steve’s posts. I guess my message is this…Dudes, check out the backs of my hands, they’re all wrinkly and sinewy! Isn’t that mental??!?
If this happens to you, please call a doctor. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones.

ps I actually went so far as to take a photo of the back of my hand (left, for those who are interested), but it looked so odd, obviously moreso when disconnected from the rest of the body, that I had to delete it (the picture, not the hand).
