Totally Ridiculous? or Totally Cool?#2

Pillowig Unlike Wear a Chair, I’m all about this one. I could use a lil’ nappy-poo right now, as a matter of fact:-)

“Pillowig” is hand made wearable pillow comforting trieness of people in daily lives, enabling users to sleep comfortably whenever and whenever they’d like. When user test is done in public spaces - subway, airplane, library, class room and laundromat, viewers commented: “I would like to have it for my trip.”, “Very funny.” “This is practical, but a laugh, too.” I made 50 limited editions and sold 47 pieces at the exhibition of the work and gained “Pillowig” fans. Two months later fans did a group performance piece at the Old Palace, Seoul.

  1. smashing. they’re lovely. like fabric elephant ears! however, to be properly futuristic surely they need to be reflective silver and have fins. only with these additions can i fully go along with this whole “pillowig” business (by the way, i love the sharing of the w. sweet!)
    now, moving on. i actually mailed steve about this recently. the i-foot - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfXapUl3wz8 forget the “pillowig” people. this is some serious futurism. i’m going to need for all you guys to go ahead and just get on board here. also, if you’re watching that youtube clip, i suggest turning down the volume and just playing devo. it really enhances the whole thing.
    steve, i gotta say i really want to see
    “Totally Ridiculous? or Totally Cool?” go right up into several figures. i’m willing to turn my back on everything. family…political beliefs…religious faith… these are just some of the things i’m willing to sacrifice to follow the “Totally Ridiculous? or Totally Cool?” banner. c’mon guys, who’s with me?? huh? guys?…….guys?

  2. Phillip Fry: Alright dude, I’m convinced. I’ll start compiling “Totally Ridiculous? or Totally Cool?” content, and you keep sending stuff my way. In fact, I’ve just made you a contributor, so you can submit stuff yourself. Nice suggestion. I hadn’t plan to do much with the category, but you’re right: there is endless material and it is a useful and stimulating discussion to carry out. Word.
